Through Tullom, Tobatenun enters a new cycle, making Tenun Batak more accessible through contemporary interpretations developed on the ATBM, while preserving the artistry of the traditional gedogan loom and time-honoured techniques.

Rooted in continuous research at Jabu Bonang, motifs including Siwaluh Jabu, Dobar, Habut, Sadum Silindung and Bunga Rias are reinterpreted for the present, creating new possibilities for Tenun Batak and its artisans. Marking eight years, eight signature pieces embody the spirit of Tullom: where heritage, innovation and accessibility meet.

In the Sopo Del Irisanna lobby, an installation traces the continuing journey of Tenun Batak, connecting heritage with the future. An interactive element featuring more than 300 Batak family names, or marga, invites visitors to discover a personal connection to the culture and communities behind the weave.
